Investing in the COMESA Region - Brussels 18/19 November
The COMESA Secretariat in collaboration with the European Commission and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Belgium-Luxembourg-ACP, is delighted to present the first major COMESA Investor Conference on November 18-19, 2008 in Brussels.
The conference is expected to draw over 150 people, including government officials and business people from the COMESA region and Europe, as well as representatives from donor agencies, development organizations, financial institutions and private sector organisations. Distinguished officials, including Sindiso N. Ngwenya, Secretary General of COMESA, are expected to make opening remarks and address partnership perspectives and issues between COMESA countries and Europe.
The theme of the Conference will be ‘Accelerating trade and investment: COMESA is ready and on the move’. The Conference will present:
- The COMESA vision for attracting investment and facilitating trade
- The COMESA Investor Practical Guide
- A Compendium of Investment Opportunities
- Case Studies and Success Stories
