Somalia: Explosion Hits Bank Headquarters, Wounding 2
An explosion hit the headquarters of Dahabshiil bank in Mogadishu on April 2, wounding at least two people, Reuters reported. The explosion occurred after al Qaeda-linked militants warned the bank to cease operations in areas under the group's control. Completely dislodging militants from Somalia has proved difficult because the country's geographical features help shelter militants from intervening forces.
