Egypt Tycoon Naguib Sawiris Funds Anti Government Protests

Cairo, Egypt, 1 July 2013 -- Breaking news: "Adalla Misr" reveals that alongside fugitive Hussein Salem, American-Egyptian Billionaire Naguib Sawiris also funds "June 30th demonstration" in an attempt to overthrow Morsi's regime.

After exposing that businessman Hussein Salem has been financing the activities of the national protest scheduled for June 30, a new evidence suggests that another major sponsor of the demonstration is no other than businessman Naguib Sawiris.

According to our sources, Salem and Sawiris, who were known for their close ties to Mubarak's regime, have recently met in Spain and agreed to co-finance the protest events, with an investment which totals at $3 million dollars. Salem, who lives in Spain since his escape from Egypt after the fall of Mubarak's regime, invited Sawiris to his home and presented him with his plan to topple the government of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Salem chooses to blatantly intervene in the country's current delicate political climate to further his own personal interests. According to estimates, after Salem's efforts to reach an agreement with the current government regarding to his debt settlement had foundered, he started promoting political candidates that could overthrow the Muslim Brotherhood.

Sawiris businesses were crippled as well by the fall of Mubarak's government, as well suffered a soaring blow to his image. Therefore, argues a senior source close to political circles, Mr. Sawiris agreed to help finance the protests, hoping to bring the downfall of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi's rule.
