Sudan and Turkey Sign a Number of Cooperation Protocols

Khartoum, April 10 (SUNA) 

Sudan and Turkey Thursday evening signed a joint protocol on cooperation by the end of the meetings of the joint Economic Committee during April 7 - 9. The Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Al-Zubair Bashir Taha, signed for Sudan, and the Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Development, Dr. Mohamed Mahdi Abkar signed for his country. Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony, Prof. 

Taha appreciated the distinguished ties between Sudanese and Turkish peoples in all fields. He said that the coming periods will witness implementation of all the protocols which were signed by Sudan and Turkey. 

Meanwhile, the Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Development said that convocation of the meetings of the Sudanese - Turkish Economic Committee in Khartoum aims to consolidate further the bilateral relations. Sudan and Turkey have signed cooperation protocols and agreements in the fields of agriculture, industry, trade, health, education, tourism, investment, strategic planning, culture, youth and sports, sea navigation, livestock, river transport as well as exchange of visits by Sudanese and Turkish businessmen.
